I have made a decision. In editing the film, I have found that using the footage of straight allies just doesn't work in the flow of the message (which is - this is what Queer looks like). The footage I have could be made into another film altogether, but that's for another day.
So, for this film, for this* is what QUEER looks like, I will now only be filming Queer folks.
I have been awed and deeply touched by straight friends and allies who have come forward to take part in this project. i thank you so much for your love and support. If/When I do a film based on "I love my Gay...," the probability of which is quite good, I will get in touch with you.
In the meantime, keep showing your support for this film and continue being awesome allies to your Gay friends and family members. We need you.
